Pir Zia Inayat-Khan is the spiritual leader of the Sufi Order International (established by Hazrat Inayat Khan in London, 1917), founding director of the Suluk Academy, an esoteric school of the Sufi Order International located in upstate New York and Executive Editor of Elixir magazine.
His initiatory heritage integrates the sacred transmissions of four Sufi lineages - Chisthti, Suhrawardi, Qadiri, and Naqshbandi within an interspiritual path.
In 2006 he received the U-Thant-Peace-Award. He holds a Masters's degree in Religion from Duke University.
